Point of Arrival   |   A coaching start-up, set to flourish
Katrina Calihan approached small but mighty to collaborate on a branding program for the launch of her start-up coaching, training and consulting company. The visual identity not only needed to convey the story of the Point of Arrival, a place where one is living at their best, but also the journey of intentionality, awareness and commitment one needs to get there. The symbol of an affable maze became the touchstone for Point of Arrival’s brand identity and collateral. Jay Bolotin   |   An enchanting package of music and art
Jay Bolotin is known internationally as a visual artist, writer, composer, musician, set designer and filmmaker. small but mighty’s challenge was to design a package for his release of The Songs of Jay Bolotin Volume 1: Shadow of a Beast that not only cleverly presented his music, but also the enchanting visual story of his woodcuts and writing. AIDS Volunteers of Cincinnati   |   Annual report makes lasting memories
AIDS Volunteers of Cincinnati was looking for a fresh annual report design to capture the attention of their audience of clients, volunteers and donors. So diverging from the typical booklet style, small but mighty designed a poster, embossed and tactile in nature, that not only functioned as a fiscal and emotional storytelling medium, but also created a captivating and memorable keepsake. Design Makes Change, a group of designers, artists and educators who utilize design thinking, co-creation and community intervention to address environmental, social, and infrastructural issues for change, collaborated with the small but mighty on an identity for the non profit, as well as the inaugural design competition The Air We Breathe: The Chicago Clean Air Design Challenge, which focused on clean air in Chicago’s most affected neighborhoods.
